Want to learn what you can do to optimize your baby’s development from day one? From newborns up till baby is walking, these group classes will incorporate infant massage techniques, stretches, bodywork techniques, and gross motor activities to make baby comfortable and confident in their own bodies.
Starting May 7th and ongoing on Thursday mornings! Held in the community meeting room of Bertha Bartlett Public Library (503 Broad St, Story City, IA 50248)
Massage, Movement, and Milestones!: (0-6 months old) Help set your baby up for success with their milestones and bond with your baby while learning infant massage techniques, tips and tricks for making tummy time a success, and free screening from a physical therapist for any body tensions, turn preferences, or head flattening.
Moving and Cruising!: (6 months -walking) Once your baby is 6+ months old, they are ready to move and explore their world! Learn how to facilitate crawling, pulling to stand, cruising (aka furniture walking), and taking their first steps! We will still touch on some massage techniques and stretches, but the main goal is to teach baby how to move and control their bodies.
Classes cost $20, you can pay for classes online or pay with cash or check in person at the class.
