The principles of neuroplasticity tell us that to make the most impactful change when learning new motor skills, it takes at least 6 weeks. Take advantage of a discount when you sign up for 6 classes and see how baby progresses each week! (Does not have to be used 6 consecutive weeks).
Starting May 7th and ongoing on Thursday mornings! Held in the community meeting room of Bertha Bartlett Public Library (503 Broad St, Story City, IA 50248)
Massage, Movement, and Milestones!: (0-6 months old) Help set your baby up for success with their milestones and bond with your baby while learning infant massage techniques, tips and tricks for making tummy time a success, and free screening from a physical therapist for any body tensions, turn preferences, or head flattening.
Moving and Cruising!: (6 months -walking) Once your baby is 6+ months old, they are ready to move and explore their world! Learn how to facilitate crawling, pulling to stand, cruising (aka furniture walking), and taking their first steps! We will still touch on some massage techniques and stretches, but the main goal is to teach baby how to move and control their bodies.
Classes cost $20, you can pay for classes online or pay with cash or check in person at the class.
